namo̍ astu sa̱rpebhyo̱ ye ke ca̍ pṛthi̱vī manu̍ |
ye a̱ntari̍kṣe̱ ye di̱vi tebhya̍: sa̱rpebhyo̱ nama̍: ॥ 1 ॥

Meaning: Salutations to the Serpents, which are on the Earth, in the atmosphere, in the (Sky) heaven.

ye̎do ro̍ca̱ne di̱vo ye vā̱ sūrya̍sya ra̱śmiṣu̍ |
yeṣā̍ma̱psu sada̍: kṛ̱taṃ tebhya̍: sa̱rpebhyo̱ nama̍: ॥ 2 ॥

Meaning: Salutations To those serpents which are staying in the heaven, in the sun rays, in the waters.

yā iṣa̍vo yātu̱dhānā̍nā̱ṃ ye vā̱ vana̱spatī̱g̱ṃ ranu̍ |
ye vā̎va̱ṭeṣu̱ śera̍te̱ tebhya̍: sa̱rpebhyo̱ nama̍: ॥ 3 ॥

Meaning: Salutations to those serpents that are used as weapons in the hands of Asuras, those living among the trees, and those that lying in the wells.

i̱dagṃ sa̱rpebhyo̍ ha̱vira̍stu̱ juṣṭam̎ |
ā̱śre̱ṣā yeṣā̍manu̱yanti̱ ceta̍: |
ye a̱ntari̍kṣaṃ pṛthi̱vīṃ kṣi̱yanti̍ |
te na̍ssa̱rpāso̱ hava̱māga̍miṣṭhāḥ |
ye ro̍ca̱ne sūrya̱syāpi̍ sa̱rpāḥ |
ye diva̍ṃ de̱vīmanu̍sa̱ncara̍nti |
yeṣā̍māśre̱ṣā a̍nu̱yanti̱ kāmam̎ |
tebhya̍ssa̱rpebhyo̱ madhu̍majjuhomi ॥ 4 ॥

Meaning: May this offering please the serpents. Serpents which inhabit the Asresha nakshatara and which are under the protection of the Sun God, Serpents which follow the devatas in the heaven, May they have command over our desires and thoughts and may they protect us. I make this offering (honey) to the serpents.

ni̱ghṛṣvai̍rasa̱māyu̍taiḥ |
kālairharitva̍māpa̱nnaiḥ |
indrāyā̍hi sa̱hasra̍yuk |
a̱gnirvi̱bhrāṣṭi̍vasanaḥ |
vā̱yuśveta̍sikadru̱kaḥ |
sa̱ṃva̱thsa̱ro vi̍ṣū̱varṇai̎: |
nityā̱ste’nuca̍rāsta̱va |
subrahmaṇyogṃ subrahmaṇyogṃ su̍brahmaṇyogm ॥ 5 ॥ 

oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ||

Meaning: oh Indra, one who is thousand eyed, oh, ruler of Devatas! Please manifest before me along with gods superior to time, with Agni in shining garments, Vaayu like white sand, Samvatsara deva and other devatas and bless me. om Subrahmanya..(Brahman)
