Karthikeya Karavalamba Stotram is a devotional hymn dedicated to Lord Karthikeya (also known as Subrahmanya, Murugan, Skanda, Shanmukha), composed by the great philosopher-saint Sri Adi Shankaracharya. “Karavalamba” means “one whose hand we seek for support or refuge”. Thus, this stotram is a plea to Lord Karthikeya to extend His helping hand to the devotee in every aspect of life – spiritual, physical, and emotional.
